Farewell Leonard Nimoy. He inspired generations of fans to pursue science and to take a level-headed approach to life. But on February 27, Leonard Nimoy succumbed to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at the age of 83. The loss of the man who was Spock, who defined Star Trek, and who played an important role in the lives of so many is being felt around the world. We take a moment to reflect on Leonard Nimoy’s contributions and why he made a difference.
