William Shatner might play Kirk again.

Rumors were flying around for a long time that Shatner might appear in Star Trek Beyond as Kirk—and reportedly Orci, Payne, and McKay even had a story that included this. Those rumors were put to bed, and Shatner himself denied them as recently as last month in a Hollywood Reporter piece. But in a new piece from Hollywood Report—which draws upon an interview they did on their Awards Chatter podcast—Shatner says that he might yet return to play Kirk. We share our thoughts on the subject.
